Satanic Angel are a Grimsby(UK) based death metal band which were formed in 2002 by founding members Phil (Lead guitar and vocals) and Dave (Bass).

The band had several line up changes before it settled down in 2004-when they met their current drummer, Tom. Also in late 2004, they released their very first demo titled 3 minutes of death, the style mainly being melodic death metal with progressive influence.

However the band has now evolved into playing more brutal and technical death metal as this seemed to be a natural progression for them, although hints of the melodic side still remain.

In 2005 the band added another guitarist to give a fuller sound, especially for live performances, so they invited Tomas to complete the line up.

Without hesitation he agreed to be part of Satanic Angel making them a four piece band for the first time. Satanic Angel are currently recording their upcoming CD, titled ‘Raping Christ’ which is expected to be finished sometime in 2006, the confirmed track list is: Suffocation at birth, possessed, blessed by the curse, raping christ and inside the grave stone (taken from the band’s first demo and will be re recorded)
